Is there a way to convert most oven recipes to use a microwave oven?

Basically, I’m in China, and my host family has a stove and a microwave. I’m planning on making a Thanksgiving dinner for them, but almost all American food uses the oven or other unobtainable ingredients. Is it possible to make a pumpkin pie, corn pudding, stuffing, and bread pudding in a microwave? I don’t see why not, just reduce the amount of liquid in the recipe and the cooking times are likely to be very different, but as long as I watch it, will this work?
