I made a pumpkin pie and I have about 1 cup of pumpkin left. Does anyone have any recipes I can use it in? It could be a side dish or a cookie. Anything except pie. Thanks!

Is there a way to convert most oven recipes to use a microwave oven?

Basically, I’m in China, and my host family has a stove and a microwave. I’m planning on making a Thanksgiving dinner for them, but almost all American food uses the oven or other unobtainable ingredients. Is it possible to make a pumpkin pie, corn pudding, stuffing, and bread pudding in a microwave? I don’t see why not, just reduce the amount of liquid in the recipe and the cooking times are likely to be very different, but as long as I watch it, will this work?

I love it so much. I’d like to have it in place of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Day. Thank you!

Can I make a pumpkin pie with this?

I am a twenty year old college student who has never had to cook a meal in my life…and I promised my boyfriend I would make pumpkin pie for him and his room mates tonight. I saw these cute little “Keebler Ready Crust” mini graham cracker pie crusts and bought a bunch…the recipes on the back are for pies that do not require a conventional oven…I also bought canned pumpkin pie mix or whatever which requires pouring it into an “unbaked” crust. Basically all I am asking is if I follow the directions on the pumpkin pie mix, is it okay to still put the graham cracker crusts in the oven at the pumpkin pie mix required temp or will they burn or come out unappetizing? Please help, I only have a few hours to do this!

Homemade pumpkin pie?

I wanted to try to make a pumpkin pie from a real pumpkin tonight since we are carving one and Id like to be able to use all of the pumpkin instead of throwing away the meat. I am reading that most recipes call for a special kind of pumpkin or require you to cut the pumpkin and half and bake it before you get out the meat. However, I want to be able to still carve a shape into the pumpkin itself. So, can anyone suggest a good recipe to me using a regular pumpkin where I don’t have to completely slaughter the thing to get the meat out? I don’t mind baking the meat itself, but I don’t want to make the skin unusable for carving either. There has to be a recipe out there where you can maybe just use extra sugar to sweeten it. Thank you.
